The Spring Carnival is our most popular event at DeLaveaga Elementary and the largest fundraiser of the year! It is fun for the entire family with carnival games, raffle, art auction, kids auction, bounce houses, karaoke, entertainment, delicious food and fun! Raffle ticket sales start about a month before the event and include many great prizes from local and statewide businesses –even Disneyland! This year the Carnival will be held on Friday, May 12th 2017 from 4pm to 8pm.
Preparations start early and the Parent Teacher Club always needs help with various tasks including:
- Silent auction committee
- Soliciting business donation/Marketing
- Raffle ticket selling and counting
- Food preparation and planning
- Kids Raffle
- Games Planning and Preparation
- Entertainment Planning and coordination
- Set-up and Break-down on day of event
You can also help by donating an item for our raffle or by sponsoring a carnival booth. As a donor, your name or the name of your business will be prominently displayed in our publicity, at the event, and in our monthly newsletter, which reaches the families of more than 600 students. All of your donations are tax deductible.
